Case Management

Case management is available to all guests who come to Guidance Ministries and looks different for every person. Some participants will simply need referrals to community resources, while others may need long term assistance to reach their goals. Through community partnerships or direct case management guests can access health insurance, health care providers, mental health services, employment services, assistance obtaining identification, and much more.

Homeless Ministry

Guidance Ministries works to provide holistically care for our homeless guests. We strive to meet their needs by providing shower and laundry services, a clothing pantry, new undergarments, hygiene products, and other basic necessities, Some of our guests spend the night wandering the streets so during the day we offer a safe place to rest and escape the elements. Snacks are provided throughout the day, as well as food boxes specially prepared with our homeless guest's circumstances in mind (ex. Pop top lids, ready to eat foods, high protein foods).

All homeless guests are encouraged to meet with our case manager to assist them in transitioning from homelessness to stable housing and other needs they may have.

Gods Kitchen

God's Kitchen - Our hot meal program is offered as an open house forum serving meals to the homeless and low-income families. Guests are seated and served in the style of a restaurant while background music is playing. Job announcements, birthday and anniversary singing, as well as a brief sermon and prayer, are offered just before the hot meals are served. This outreach is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6 pm.

Food Pantry

Food Pantry - Tuesdays 12-3:30 pm

Bags of food and toiletry items are given out to those in need. Each bag is made up according to the number of family members living in the household and any special needs of the clients. Clients may come one time a month for assistance. We also provide diapers, baby food, and feminine hygiene products to those who request them.
